29 M Kitchen storage

Hi everyone. Hubby and I really like the 2017 29M but we are having difficulty figuring out where to put food for easy access since no pantry. I am short so it makes it difficult to use the cabinets over the couch but especially difficult to use the ones over the dinette. Hoping to decide this weekend so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome aboard!

My Missus is also never going to play Pro Basketball...
We bought her a fold up step-stool at CW, and she uses it all of the time!
(About $12.00...)

Thanks for responding so quickly So she uses the cabinets above couch and dinette? Have you/she been happy with the drawer space in the kitchen?

We have a different rig than you do...
She loads the heavy stuff down low. It saves space in the upper cabinets for the lighter stuff.
But our rig does have a lot of cabinet space!

Do you have a 29 M? Looks like you have a different model. A step stool in this model won't really work for cabinets over the dinette because it would be too far away unfortunately. Thanks for trying.

Yep this would be our 4th RV type vehicle so I have figured out what works and what doesn't but I can't seemed to figure out how to make this model work for me. That's why I was reaching out to someone who has this same model but again thanks.

We have a 29M and unfortunately you are right about the high storage. We do store our stuff above the couch and dinette. My wife has me reach all that stuff for her. You might be able to store some items under the dinette seat. Others on here have modified thiers to hold stuff.

Thanks. Well we thinking maybe we can put major access items like dishes/glasses and maybe food in the cabinets above the sink. What do you have above the sink?

We have dishes, glasses, coffecups, etc above the sink. Also be aware that all the controls for the bed, slide, water pump, water heater, etc are in the high cabinet above the door. I can reach them but my wife cannot.

I'm short too with a 29M. I don't really have a problem with the height. I have a step stool but there's lots of room in the wardrobe drawers under the side window in the bedroom right next to the refrigerator.

The 29 m has a water pump under one side of the dinette and the fresh water tank on the other side. It is possible to make some storage on the water pump side

My wife is 5'2". We store all food above the sink. Plates, cups etc is above the sofa. Pots pans utensils go in the drawers in the kitchen. Wife has no problems reaching anything. She does use a folding step to get into the bed.

I do most of the cooking so reaching stuff isnt really a problem for her. If I get time tomorrow Ill go inside and take some pics for you on where we put things.

Thanks Jerry. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

I'm UsbRving's husband, John. We're on our way to Grass Valley right now to take the 29M for a spin.

Thanks again.
