Indoor heated winter storage

This is our first Motorhome and we have opted to rent indoor heated storage. I was told the temp range is in the 50's and no winterization was required. I will also have the option of remaining connected to electric power throughout the winter.

How should we best prepare our Motorhome for this winters storage?

Kay

Pretty simple. Dump your black and grey tanks, park and plug in and set your thermostat below the building temp in case there would be a heating failure in the building.

For the cheap price of RV antifreeze - and the even cheaper price of compressed air - and knowing Murphy lives everywhere (crap happens) - I would still winterize the plumbing...

Avoids any worry of freezing if there is an extended power/heating failure... and avoids having to run a propane furnace venting into an enclosed building...

We stored our 40' boat in heated storage in Michigan for several years. I simply drained the fresh water tank and made sure the black tank was drained and clean. Of course we also threw tons of softner sheets all over to keep mice out and things smelling good.

Most heated storage places will bring in a generator if utilities fail, otherwise they would tell you to winterize.
