Ace 27.2 black tank question

Hello all :-). Is it possible that the bathroom sink in my 2017 Ace drains into the black water tank? I would not have thought so but I didn't know if that was a possibility.

Yes...they do that to make sure enough water gets in with the solids. It keeps you from having a "log jam" in the tank. Normal turd flushing doesn't allow enough water to do it.

Mine does on my ACE 2021. I remember filling up the black tank when I was trying to fill up the gray water tank, the first time

Be a smart camper and always flush 3 or 4 gallons of water into the tank along with a surfactant - immediately after draining and flushing your black tank. Then it's no worries.

P.S. If you want to know where the bath sink drains, after flushing the tanks, crawl under where the tank is. Have someone run water from the bath sink... you'll hear it draining into the plastic tank.

I have 2 baths...front toilet and sink goes in the black tank. Rear toilet and sink goes in the black tank....all showers go in the gray tank.

Wait! Wut? The shower and kitchen sink drain to the GRAY tank. The toilet and bathroom sink drain to the BLACK tank.

^^^^^^ Yep, What he said. ^^^^^^ On a 27.2 the kitchen sink has it's own gray tank, as does the shower. You have two gray tanks to dump. Bathroom sink drains to black tank.
As the Gritz so eloquently put it you need extra water in black tank to, ahem, move the turds

No. Black tank is toilet + washroom sink, the gray tank is shower + kitchen sink.

I have the 27.2 A.C.E. and was just coming to say that only my kitchen sink, and shower, drain to my grey tank. Our previous one did not have the bathroom sink drain to the black tank so we were surprised to learn that this one does.

No. Only the bath sink goes to the black. Kitchen sink and shower go to the grey.
