Best Place To Get Weighed?

Ok, so I need to weigh my MH for the first time soon....where do I go? Are truck stops normally equipped with scales, or just go find a public scale?

Cat scales are all over the country:
CAT Scale

There are at least two within a 15 mile drive from my home.

Pull up on the scales, press the intercom button, and drive off (Typically the attendant will give you a "ok pull ahead"). You then park in the lot and pick up your results at the counter (after paying the $15 fee).

Look at that they have a "How to weigh" section on their website:
http://catscale.com/how-to-weigh

Then you get a fancy report:

Note that they only give you the weights per axle--no left/right info.

I had my prior coach (Class C) done through the Escapees Smart Weight program. They actually weigh at the individual wheel locations with and/or without towed vehicle.

On that coach their system was nice because I was able to adjust my air spring pressures to compensate for the weight difference between the left and right rear corners. A 5 psi difference in the air springs made quite an improvement to ride and handling.

I was going to have them do the new coach at the SKP ACRE rally in TN but due to a business commitment we weren't able to attend.

The Escapees weigh is what I would recommend. They have a location in Texas, Arizona and Florida, as well as several rallies.
