A/C question

Hi all! The Coleman A/C on my 2017 Vegas keeps running. It never cycled off over 18 hours. Outside temperature was 84 degrees with high humidity during the day and 73 degrees through the night. Is it normal to run non-stop?

Depends on your thermostat temperature and fan settings. If the fan is set to ON it will run continuously regardless of the need for cooling by the compressor.

Exclamation

Set your thermostat's fan setting to AUTO so the fan will shut off when the set temperature is reached.

Thanks for the quick reply. The fan setting was on high. I changed it to auto low.

That should work for OATs of up to 85 F. Beyond that I would use auto high to get maximum cooling out of the unit.

Great! Thanks for the info! I move it to auto high. AC is working great. It's cycling off now.
