Dually Valve Stems

Couple of months ago I had a front tire blowout and was forced to replace all tires. They were 7 years old. I guess I waited too long. After new tires ( Hankook) were installed I started having problems with the dually wheels. The TMPS would not give me any readings on rear inner tires and I would not be able to add some air to them as well. So, after studying the subject I decided to purchase dually valve stems. Went to America's Tires store with dually valve stems in my hand. They accepted the work. After couple of hours, the four rear wheels had new, chrome dually valve stems installed. Now, I can easily check the rear tire pressure and my TMPS finally gives me accurate readings not error codes. I waited too long for this to happen. I highly recommend this upgrade for convenience and safety. America's Tires charged me for removing, installing new valve stems and balancing 4 rear wheels $50. This was best money I could ever spend. After work was completed I had to enlarge the hand hole in the wheel simulator so the inner wheel stem would not touch the wheel simulator. That part was easy. The dually valve stems were purchased from https://yourtireshopsupply.com/ I called them, talk to Kelli and she was very helpful and knowledgeable.
My 2015 Thor Axis 24.1 has 16" wheels and the valves I purchased were DL3FC. There is another model DL1FC which is recommended by Ford but these two are identical. The DL1FC is just 1" shorter than DL3FC. Actually, longer stems worked better for me. The set also comes with rubber wheel stabilizers. Here are few pictures.Click image for larger version

Glad you got a fix that works for you. Thanks for sharing with us. Looks like you use the same tireminder sensors I’ve got.

Your conclusion is incorrect. Dually valve stems are not going to affect function of valve stem mounted TPMS.

I have the same TPMS, standard valve stems and the TPMS functions just fine.

I suspect either something unusual about the valve stems previously installed, or incorrectly installed sensors perhaps the 'lock' nut was stopping the sensor from fully seating.

what is the make of those TPMS? I see the initials but that's about it. I had a set and after monitoring on a daily basis, the rear tire was leaking 1 psi a day,

Again, back to the tire store.... they found it...this nail was buried in the tread...lets see. so total, I went thru 2 new valve stems, not the problem. At least 2 or 3 tire pressure extenders, not the problem. I got the tires inspected and rebalanced, they missed it. finally i got a mechanic to have me roll the RV fwd as he inspected tire.

I need a new set of TPMS, but at a reasonable price. The last set, i returned for a full refund.

I'm currently using this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WYQLTDR?tag=sortagotta-20

I also have a Tireminder which I use on another setup.

The B/QTec unit is a bit small, but I have my wife watching it from the passenger seat (keeps her busy ;-). I think the accuracy isn't quite as solid as Tireminder but it's good enough. The solar charging has been great, and the battery seems to last forever once charged.
