Great insight from clarkwood. It does make sense that if one were to rent out their MH, that it should be done correctly. I checked with my Progressive agent and as long as the MH is rented out through a rental service like Outdoorsy, they are OK with it.

I read through the manual and I don't think it's for me. I agree with paulwadley in that I don't like the way other people treat other people's stuff. I'm too emotionally attached to my 28A to let some yahoo drive it off my property.

We paid for our MH with some inheritance money, so we own it. It'll just sit between uses, getting little mods here and there and an occasional run around the block!

Firstly Thank You for the Kind Comments.

I am providing an update on our RV rental business and progress.

1. I have a 2017 Thor Gemini TX and I have put it in a Rental programme
for approx. 6 months of the year with both RVezy and Outdoorsy for the beginning.

2. Right now my motorhome has been out on a 45 day rental to Alaska and the Yukon on a trip at 269 per night.

3. My Motorhome is all but paid for completely by rentals. $20-25 thousand per year.

4. Did I mention my motorhome is now FREE and here is the beautiful kicker, my rental season here in Canada is the summer. I get to use the motorhome when I truly want to use my motorhome in the winter to drive to Florida and the south to get away from the snow.

To extrapolate on this point, when my motorhome would otherwise be sitting on the driveway it is generating rather substantial revenue and if vetting your renter correctly mitigating risk and damage.

I will end this post with this, I am at this point suspending my rental programme because yes I have encountered some of those issues that would drive some owners crazy.

It is more I am moving into full retirement, moving across country and will setup a rental programme for that area which is a prominent fly-in rent a motorhome environment.

I do have a few major tweeks to this "Game of Rentals" to help reduce damage and selectivity of who gets to rent.

After years of rental (both RV, apartment and home rentals) you get a good sense in all aspects who causes trouble and can make your life miserable.
