Anyone using any security systems?

Got a VEGAS 25.2, traveling with three four legged kids. Looking at using a CANARY security system with video, intrusion, temp monitoring. Uses wifi/cellular for communication. Anyone else using this or something simila

Mike,
I actually talked to Canary. They said that the video would eat up a lot of bandwidth and advised me NOT to tie the Canary to a hotspot. I find this weird since they claim they are building a cell data base for the Canary Flex.

With that in mind, and having been an iPhone developer in my pre-Retirement days, I wrote an app that links to the Elgato Eve Motion Sensor. If it detects motion, it will send me a text message. Unfortunately that means that I have to leave either my cellphone or iPad in the rig to use it. I can't sell the app because it violates some of Apple's HomeKit guidelines. But if you are anywhere near San Jose CA, I can put it on your iPhone or iPad to beta test :-)

Been all across the country & security has never been an issue, most times don't lock the outside compartments. If I were staying in state/national parks more I would definitely have some sort security on every piece of equipment. Don't like to sound like a grump, but most that stay in state/national parks are weekend campers & have NO consideration for anyone or anything in those campgrounds.

Security

I have been looking at at system called RV command made specifically for The RV. It utilizes cell towers and there is a monthly charge. Also considering Viper security that's in my truck. I really like it as long as I have cell service I will get notified of any intrusions. it will show my truck location and I can lock or unlock the doors from anywhere with my cell phone. Security is an issue because I have to store my RV in another location from where I live because of deed restrictions.
