Bolts for Ladder
Just bought a used 2015 Windsport 34J last week. I noticed the ladder was sagging when I tried to climb on the roof. Come to find out the bolts are bent and in some cases sheered off. Anybody else run into this issue of the ladder not holding up? Any suggestions on where to get replacement bolts? Thanks in advance.

WOW thats not good. First time Ive seen this.
My only suggestion is to remove a good bolt and bring it to Home Depot or another hardware store. Match the size and thread then try to buy a higher grade bolt.

If you ladder is "sagging", I'd look at the top as well because just putting bolts in there at the bottom is not going to fix the problem

Same problem, they only can take so many lbs...and you don't know who was there before you... [emoji1] I did 2 things, checked and replaced bolts, since the butt cap is fiber glass, look up under there and check the big piece of wood the bolt is screwed into. Usually a block fiberglassed onto the cap. Consider adding a brace bar between chassis and block. A square hollow aluminum bar is cheap at HD and better than cracking the fiberglass. Those ladders are stupid expensive new.

I agree! While you're at it: replace ALL of them!

If you are in a humid or area that uses salt on the roads, get stainless steel bolts/screws. I used stainless on our old MH ladder.

And get good quality stainless steel. Try a marine supply house. I've put cheap korean stainless steel on only to see it rust in less than a year.

I had the same situation, I replaced the bolts and built a support that I put under the bottom rung when I use the ladder. I do not trust these ladders at all.

Get new marine grade stainless steel screws, replace them all and be sure to put a dab of silicone sealer on each hole to keep out water/moisture.
