Awning ripped off by big gust of wind

So our awning was out when a big gust of wind ripped the awing off leaving the frame fully extended. We have a motorized awning, and the retracting needs the awning to be attached to provide the rolling of it up and the frame pulled back in. Does anyone know how to get the frame folded back up in this situation?

I've never seen this before, mine slammed against my motorhome so I tie it out now. Can't you just push it back to the camper, or throw a rope over the roof and pull it tight and tie it temporarily or push the frame tight and put a self taping screw on each side with your battery drill or impact, then you are safe to drive

I would disconnect the 2 gas struts close the frame and run a screw thru the side of the frame to hold it tight to the camper for temporary travel.

You will have to remove the two gas struts to get the frame to fold back up against the coach. I would then use a couple of tie downs to secure the frame. Those gas struts take about 150 pounds of pressure to collapse. You just can't push them in by hand.

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, We were able to pull the frame down in its track and then secure it in place with tie straps
