AXIS|VEGAS Outdoor shower hose is leaking

Has anyone had this issue and then found a solution?

I have tightened, removed and tightened, and tightened some more...

Checked the washer. Every time I do something, it works for one or two turn ons, and turn offs, then starts leaking again.

I was thinking of using some Teflon tape on the plastic threads of the faucet, but thought I would ask the experts before I did that...

Not like I use the outdoor shower that much, but hate to have a leak

I haven't had that problem... yet but on one occasion my indoor shower had a leak where the "nut" tightened down onto the Oxygenics shower head. The problem ended up that the nut itself was cracked so I replaced the whole hose and that solved the problem. Have you checked for any hairline cracks?

Hope I don't sound to elementary. Does your outdoor shower have both hot and cold water shutoffs and a shutoff button on the shower head? Is it possible that one of the hot or cold knobs is on? Mine leaks by the showered button if I leave one on, and its brand new.
Just a thought

Thanks everyone for the feedback....

Since the connector from the hose to the faucet assembly only left about 1/8 inch between the hose and the back wall of the assembly box, it was impossible to get leverage to tighten the hose to the faucet connecter. Adding to that, the connector was smooth with no way to get a wrench on it and needle nose also didn't get the connector any tighter...

Looked where the assembly box was connected to water (which on the VEGAS 25.2 was under the couch) and saw I could disconnect the water hoses, then remove the nuts holding the faucet to the assembly box. after removing the faucet, it was a simple thing to tighten the connector...

I just am still gun shy about disassembling my RV (too much anyway) Especially when it concerns water.
