AXIS/VEGAS owners, adding batteries to original two

I am looking at adding two (2) batteries to the original two from THOR. Just wondered where anyone else had located them. Got a 2016 25.2 VEGAS, and hate to lose any storage, but also would like to have more batteries for boondocking. Been thinking about replacing the storage to the left of the door with a battery box, but was hoping some of you 'RV GURUS" might have a better idea

I seriously considered adding 2 more batteries but from everything I've read all recommendations were against adding new with old. So I bit the bullet and bought 4-Duracell Ultra 6V Deep Cycle Golf Cart Batteries 235AH from Batteries Plus. I ordered and paid for them on line picked them up at the local store with free shipping. They were $129 a piece but if you wait a few minutes before ordering you should receive a 10% offer.

If your dry camp much you will find the 4 battery bank to be "wonderful". I know I have never regretted it.
