AXIS/VEGAS wiper arms on drivers side

Got a 2016 VEGAS here, just noticed this morning that the drivers side only goes so far (about half way across the drivers field of view)

Is this normal? Do I need to get it adjusted?

I have seen issues stated here in the forums about some wipers going "too far" and getting stuck or damaging the arm. I would rather put up with a narrower field of vision than that.

What have you other AXIS/VEGAS jockeys found on yours?

My driver's side wiper smacks the side of the A-Pillar--definitely goes further than yours.

Also use rain x on window so it's fine

So it looks like a change on the later coaches...

Does the limit on the drivers side cause much issue? I haven't driven in rain much (yet)

Axis/Vegas Wipers Tech Service Bulletin

I recently found a TSB for Axis/Vegas Wipers Tech Service Bulletin from Thor. It is TSB 20-06 that is dated 12/07/2020 for 2016-2020 Axis/Vegas that have the Wexco butterfly wiper system. This TSB is Thor's fix to correct the poor field on view for the driver. I will be contacting a local service center about getting this done.

On my ACE the Drivers side wiper was not going far enough to the left I adjusted this myself all you need do is to lift the cap over the nut, unscrew the nut far enough out to protect the threads, lightly tap the nut with a hammer while pulling up on the wiper arm. Once the arm pops up move the arm higher on the wind shield and retighten the nut.

You will also need to make sure the left and right wiper do interfere with each other.
