Axxera AV614BH issues

1) To my surprise this model those not support satellite radio (siriusxm)
I've got a Vegas 24.1 2016 and there was a siriusxm free trial inside.
Is there an easy way out ???

2) My outside speakers work only from the back radio (bedroom) I cannot use the front radio with those speakers, does not make sense. Useless coming from the back, my dealer told me that this was the way it works ???

Thanks for your help

That's the way my 31W is setup too. But since I Bluetooth from phone it's no big deal. Just turn on B speakers and select Bluetooth. After that control from phone.

There are a couple of options for you. We have the same Axxera radio as you. We added a SiriusXM Onyx and plugged it into the Aux port in the front. If you upgrade to the SiriusXM app on your smartphone, you can stream it via Bluetooth to the radio.

I just wish I could view the backup camera and listen to radio at the same time. I plug in my ipod for music we like.

Yeah, the Axxera isn't exactly user friendly for multitasking. I found that streaming from my phone was the best thing (connect BT Music via the Menu button, then press the Mode button to switch to the rear camera view while keeping the music playing. I don't know if that works for the radio if playing a station over the air.

Hi Pete

If I understand correctly, by doing this the outside speakers will work

Thanks

We do. We plug our ONYX in the AUDIO REAR, then we put a"Y" adapter in the VIDEO REAR, So when we go to REAR A/V We have satellite music and camera on the radio. We also plug the video into our GARMIN RV760, so we have two screens for csmeras

You can download and install the Jensen jControl app to your smartphone and use it as a remote control for the bedroom radio.

The app only works with Jensen models that begin with JWM or MS. You can still connect your smartphone via BT and manage the audio, but no remote control features.

Sirius Radio and Blue Tooth

I Was pretty surprised with our Thor Four Winds 24FS. It did not have access to satellite radio and several other options I count on (navigation for example). But yes, we went ahead and bought it.
If you have an Iphonie or IPaddie etc, Sirius Radio has an app to add to your account to use Bluetooth to listen (https://www.siriusxm.com/streaming).

I was also surprised that our coach did not have satellite radio built in. Most of the cheapest car radios now have built in Sirius XM and a free trial period. I purchased the Onyx Plus satellite radio, mounted it on the dash, and run through the AUX port on the Axxera radio.

I also tried to use the mirroring procedure to mirror a smart phone or tablet to the Axxera radio using an HDMI connector. To my surprise, my Samsung Galaxy Tablet does not have this capability. I intended to buy a USB to HDMI adapter to attach to the USB on the tablet, then run an HDMI cable to the Axxera as described in the Axxera user's guide. Samsung discontinued support for this option because they said the USB to HDMI connector caused serious issues with the tablet. The iPhone and iPad have that option. So, if I want to mirror navigation to the Axxera, I use my iPhone. I have considered changing to a Galaxy smart phone, but am concerned it might have the same limitation as the tablet if I try to mirror it to the Axxera. Does anyone else have a samsung Galaxy phone and know whether this does work or not?

It works with my Samsung S8 phone and a wireless HDMI dongle.

Thanks. Good to know. I had Galaxy S4 and S6 phones, then switched to iPhone 6 and have never liked it. I've been thinking of upgrading to a Galaxy S8 and am glad to hear it will work.

The only thing I don't like is the phone screen is on all the time since you are mirroring. I'm more used to how android auto works in GM cars where the phone screen is off
