Battery Problems

We have a Thor 26C and we tow a Eqinox. When towing if we don't stop every couple of hours and start the Equinox the battery goes dead. How do we avoid this situation and allow us to go further without stopping?

Welcome to the forum!
Could you run some cables from your house batteries back to the Toad (with some quick disconnects near your hitch); and use it to keep the battery charged?

If you are using the tail, stop and turn lights on your tow car, then do what Bob said.
If you have external tow lights powered off of the RV and you have the steering unlocked with it going into accessory and if this is what is dragging it down.

Easy solution; put a knife switch on the neg. post of your battery and disconnect it while towing. That is what I do since mine does go into acc. when turning the ign. key and unlocking the steering.
