Depends on the year; newer models have an E450 chassis.

John,

I added the Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer (item 31-140), purchased and installed at the Austell Georgia Factory (no charge for installation when done at this factory) on 30 October and it made a world of difference in the steering!

FYI: I did have the front end aligned prior to getting the stabilizer.

Doc

Can you describe what was wired incorrectly? Others may benefit from your experience. Makes me wonder what else is wired wrong in RVs that is never identified or fixed. Quality control across the industry seems questionable to me.

A related question: On the diagram it shows coach batteries being able to connect to the chassis battery through an Emergency-Start solenoid and some relatively small wires/cables. It also shows power has to flow through a 100-Amp breaker.

I'm not familiar with these kinds of breakers, so I'm asking if they can handle much higher current for short periods to start a V10? With a dead chassis battery you may need 500 Amps or more.

Or is the intent here to transfer power from house batteries to chassis battery over a few minutes and then try to start engine? Or am I missing something else?

The early ones are E350, but some of the 2016's are E450. I would check my vin # to make sure which you have.

Had this problem in my 2015 Thor Vegas 25.1. In the outside storage compartment under the drivers side window is an electrical box on the rear wall of this compartment. Open it and look in the lower left corner of this box for a white colored rectangular little component thats about 1.5 inch by 1 inch by 3/4 inch in size. There is a small black button on the side facing you. Push it to reset this breaker.
