Voltmeter & Ground Meter

Need to settle a discussion with my wife. If you have a circuit analyzer with a surge protection (and diagnostic light for indication of faults) is it necessary to still carry a voltmeter and ground meter polarity supplies? I would think all of my electrical concerns would be covered with the circuit analyzer.

Not sure whose side this is, but yes I'd still carry the the testers, your surge protector helps protect you from the pedestal, but if you have other issues, like a bad plug, you will need to locate them requiring your test equiptment.
