Best hiding spots?

I have an ACE and was thinking about hiding spots. Somewhere to stash valuables when away that is easily accessible, but not easy to spot. What do you guys do?

Well... I leave stuff at my buddy's house; if I don't want the Missus to find it.
Put in a safe!

Unfortunately I do not know anything about your coach except for the floor plan and pictures I see on the Interweb, as well as how my 2016 ACE is built.

Generally "hidden" and "easily accessible" don't go together but I'll give you a couple of ideas.

1 - To the back side of your entry way you have shallow cabinets over a hollow space that the heater ducts run through. You may be able to create a falso bottom in the bottom of the cabinet to give you access to some dead space down there.

2 - To the back of that same cabinet is the bathroom sink/cabinet. If it's built like mine (and it probably has to be for the heat ducting) you have two shelves in the bathroom cabinet over an access panel held in by 4 screws. Remove that panel and you probably have a lot of dead space. Use Velcro to hold that panel in place instead of the screws to make it easily removable and you have another out-of-the way hiding spot.

3 - You have a drawer under your forward dinette seat for storage. It probably does not go all the way back into the bench. Build a storage box that attaches to the back of the drawer and is accessible only by removing the drawer.

I hope this gives you some ideas.

In the same vein as Duck's suggestion, here's a safe you could probably install in the end of your rear dinette bench:

Why would anyone publish on an open forum where they hide stuff in their RV?

Just like a few years ago folks posting all the secret hiding spots in their RVs. They weren’t secret for very long.

Well obviously no one should post "what they do", but now the OP has some ideas about what he could do. Hopefully he keeps his decision a secret.

Many many
Diversion safes
On Amazon.

I don't use a slinky because we have a macerator. I do carry one as a back-up.
I think a phony slinky end, with a bit of brown ugly melted plastic strategically placed on the cap...
I bet it would be safe in the klepto ward at an asylum.

rvquest=can I borrow your ss# and cc# for a little bit? I promise to only use it for good. By the way, where do you hide the valuables at your house? This whole conversation really rates up there

But we know you're in Montana and we know what you drive.
Just because you know you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not really after you.

Any thief in my area who'll steal 1,000 used black tank slinkies to play the averages....

Related to averages and slinky:
There are no averages based on stealing slinkys and canned goods nor ripping vents from walls based on the 3 people WORLDWIDE who will read, then heed, this thread.

This is my spare tire safe(and fold down mates to the tailgate to make an 'L' shaped table, table).
There is LOTS of room on the reverse side of a spare tire.
(There's nothing in the safe. It's for others to use when we're on a group trail trip and they get a little worried about potential broken windows and purses and such)

Peerrrrsonnnallly,
I think one of the diversion safes, combined with an empty $20 yard sale cheap safe setting in plain sight should be considered.

Thief yoinks empty $cheapest walmart safe, and frolics away giggling about the stupid rv'r with a safe sitting by their door, instead of thief opening every can of beets in hope of finding your travelers cheques.

Exactly. Most thefts are crimes of opportunity and it would most likely be a smash and grab. Most thieves wont have the time to go poking around at every vent, can and panel.

Not "award" but you can thank the author of any post with the "THANKS" button at the bottom of the post.
