A row of lights (LEDs) above the rear license plate. Does anyone know what they are for? They don't come on in reverse (backup) and other than I don't know how to turn them on.We

OK, I'll take a SWAG - perhaps to illuminate your tag when your lights are on?

No, it's about 14" long with multiple led lights. The light to illuminate the plate is just above the plate. Thanks

Looking at the picture of one, if that does not come on for reverse lights, where do they come on?

Can you post a picture? Is your coach used (if so perhaps the previous owner added them or the dealer added them)? Do they come on with the parking lights?

The coach was purchased new

It has to be back-up lights
There are no other lights on the rear end to illuminate when backing up.

Have you tried using the reverse gear when headlights are on to see if the back-up lights work then?

Otherwise...(hahaha)
1) call dealer for appointment
2) their soonest appointment is 6-8 weeks
3) then they will require you to leave your rig with them for another 2-3 weeks

Could they be IR for the backup camera at night?

That was going to be my next post. They have to be back up lights.

S.O.P.

Or.... with any luck you could have someone trace down the broken wire and have it fixed in an hour.

When it stops raining I'm going check it with the lights on and in reverse and see how that works
