Bunk Bed Won’t Go Up

The bunckbed in our 2019 Mirimar won’t go up🙈 it detracts about 3 inches then just stops.... no further movement or noise. Any suggestions ?

First you need to interrogate the bunk controller which is usually in the left most upper cabinet above the drivers head. It should display one of the error codes when interrogated (2-9). You can always try electronic manual override. The system is identical to the ones used on the slides as far as the track motors and controller is concerned. Lippert Components has a customer help center if you think they could help. Here is the link to the slide/bunk trouble shooting <https://www.lci1.com/assets/content/support/technical-information-sheets/Slideouts/CCD_0002071.pdf>.

If you log into Thor's owner's resources page with your VIN you'll be able to download the manual for your bunk controller:

run it all the down first, then try running it back up and see if it doesn't continue all the way up.... if the rails are not in alignment, the bunk gets 'stuck' and can't proceed.... running it all the way down first assures alignment before you go up.

and, you may have to try it several times to get it back in 'sync'... and always continue to hold the button, even when it reaches it's top/bottom, for a few seconds to make sure the motors stay in sync.
