Cable not working in 2017 chateau 31w

No matter what i try, I can never get cable to work in the rv. Have tried hooking up to campground cable in the last 3 cgs is frustrating. I scan for channels and not a one shows up. We have Element tv and seiki sound bar. There is no button for switching between air and cable. It seems to be only through the menu.
Any suggestions? Thanks

I think you must have the outlet button control some where in your unit. Above microwave, behind any CD player. Just have to find it.

You have an amplified OTA antenna. In order for cable to pass through to the TVs the amplifier for the antenna has to be off. There should be a wall plate with a small button and possible a status LED in the MH possibly in a cabinet, that turns the power to the amplifier off. You just have to find it. It may or may not have a COAX connector on it as well.

You might have something that happened on my brand new ACE. I had same problem.

I trouble shooted with cable from the camping site thru the window to back of TV. There might be a simple issue as the inner wire being broke and you will never get a signal.

This drove me nutz till i disassembled the plug on the side of the RV and removed the cable, during production the inner cable must have broke and no one ever tested the system.

Start basic trouble shooting and make sure the cable is intact.

The switch was in the cabinet under the tv antenna location. It hid behind the cable outlet.
