Campground cable issue

2016 Hurricane with Seiki Tv. Campground shows 43 channels available. I set booster to OFF (green light ON), set tv for cable and did a channel search. Only receiving 6 channels. 60-1,60-2 thru 60-6. Campground claims cable is working properly and neighbor had 43 channels. Do I have something set wrong?

What kind of shape is your cable in?

I do believe the green light (booster) is supposed to be off not on.

LOTS of info about Seki TV's not working on campground cable.

Happened to us last year. A trip to WalMart solved the problem, We bought a Toshiba, ON SALE.

Here are a few links that will explain why your Seki TV's don't work on some cable systems.

Usually the "any number dash another number" is an indication that that channel is an over the air channel. My guess...you're not receiving the cable signal, or...Is TV set to "cable" on the Source Menu? And, cpmath is correct...booster not "on" when not receiving over the air stations.

The Seiki does not have a QAM tuner, so depending on the campground cable system, you won't get many channels. And yes the green light needs to be off for cable.
