We use the swimming noodle on our awning framework where the door hits...
in addition, I am lobbying with Ron to put another door dampener on the top, or one of those spring/chain mechanisms.
That thing swings open waaaaay too fast !! There should be some fix for that!

Jamiegeek & I bougjt a piece of the gray insulation that goes on water pipes to keep them from freezing. I cut it about 3 ft long, sliced it the length and just slide it on the support arm where the door would hit it. The gray color blends in with the black support arms.

Stan,

"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog that counts." Hey, look at it this way...our Vegas/Axis RUV's can run circles around them on fuel mileage!!

Is that your Black Lab in the Picture? One of our dogs is a Black Lab, named "Satin Doll".

Doc

Great! Location is right. Only possibility of a campground near NYC. Any problem with reservations into there? It's on my list....

Yep, Doc- that is our Lab Paddy ( we got HER on St.Paddy day...😆 ). Our 5th - all great dogs.

The 45 ft owners were civil - actually checked the Vegas out a lot ....... Probably felt sorry for us....😃. But seriously - we just came from a diesel pusher - I'm not ready to go back. Not to sure about the wife- but she is getting over the " where do I put it " panic....

No problem at all - booked about 6 months ago online and arrived 9 pm - tight quarters but feel safe - gated with 24 hour security on site.

Sounds good. Has it been full the whole time you have been there or is it possible to get in without making a reservation some time in advance?

A couple of empty sites but people coming and going all the time - I would not drive down here without a guaranteed reservation. lol

Drive through Arches NP on our first trip out.

East entrance to Zion NP this spring.

We have explored Utah extensively...jaw-dropping at every turn...be sure to
drive Monument Valley in SW corner ... then into Lake Powell...great camping area there...
See you are at Zion...did you stay at Bryce too?
and all the spots in between !!!

We were traveling between our home in FL and our home in KY. Tools, luggage, and a 2006 Suzuki M109R.

It has been a couple years since we went to Bryce. It would be fun to go back again. Escalate or more specific Hwy 12 is a fantastic drive and it has plenty of places to camp along the way. It's one of my favorite parts of this state.

Powell was just about empty when we drove through this spring on our way to spring training baseball in AZ. It was really sad to see.

Mirror Lake Hwy is going to be our next trip. Time to camp at 10,000' and skip the desert for a little bit.
