Our first RV weekend Trip !!!
Our Vegas RV experience started off will a near disaster. For our first adventure we decided to do something truly special.
We spent all morning at the local wineries and at night at our favorite seafood restaurant. This was our view the whole time.. Amazing!!
Malibu California !!!

Yes, the temp around 9 am in the morning was about 82 degrees. However, its snowing in the mountains right now and we will be sking this weekend in California. Not too far away. Southern California is a very unique place to live.

Our Vegas at Ranch Jurupa Park
On our recent trip to CA. Rancho Jurupa Park is part of the Riverside County park system. Except for the extreme heat, we really liked this place. The temp got up to 116º one afternoon.
The Vegas performed, and handled, great!

Last week might have been our last RV outing for this year? Little hope for another open weekend where temperatures promise to stay above freezing.
Picture of the Axis parked at a hot springs RV campground and another from across the river taken from a canyon trail to some springs. So much to explore along the Snake River.

And not really camping, as much as basing ourselves in a crazy-busy RV "resort" in San Diego. If you can get past the wall-to-wall people, it's a great place to stay if you want to see the sights in & around San Diego. (Notice our neighbors were tenters. They had one of their tents less than a foot from our sewer.  ) And yes, that's our beagle, Tilly, on the dash of the rig.

I have noticed the same thing when camping in narrow spaces. Picnic tables within a foot or two of sewer hookups. Not particularly sanitary.

Set up at the State Park about 45 minutes from the house. We head over there after work on Saturdarys for short 24 hour stays. Not much to look at or do with lake water level at 21%, but relaxing just to get away.
