Canopy awning

Looks like my awning is dry rotting and needs replaced. Any suggestions on best place to order the fabric to replace old one? Cost? This is for a 32’ Thor Windsport. Is this a do it yourself project? Thanks for your help

What is the width of your awning?
(Or is it length? )

17’ by 8’ with a 9” tab that hangs down when open. Question, 3-4 ‘ section has come out of rail at roof, is there any risk of it flying open if I drive it? Thanks for the reply!

Can't help with the cost, but there is special patching tape for awnings. It's a poor fix, but might hold it together until you get it replaced.

That is it, you have to find the manufacturer's nameplate, possibly on the roller, then contact them with the info. Well, Dometic has a nameplate on the roller.

We replaced our 14' fabric in May 2020, cost $119.95 free shipping from RecPro.
https://www.recpro.com/rv-awnings/

Supper easy DIY BUT it is a 2 person job, 1 to pull (me standing on a 6' step ladder), 1 to push (DW standing a couple steps up on a 4' step ladder.
