Carfax type reports available for used Class C?

Are there any reports available, similiar to Carfax for cars, for used Class C?

We asked a dealer and was told there is no such thing for RV's.

We would like to find out the history of a used Thor we will be looking at.
Thank you!

Find a different dealer.

This was pretty easy to find.

Google is usually the best/fastest answer.

Appreciate the quick reply. We will look into that.
We also wondered if anyone had first hand experience with getting or ordering a report.
It does make us wonder about the dealer. We meet with them in the morning and will ask again in person, but now we can mention this specifically.

Yes, you can go online to the Carfax site and see the report by VIN. When I did my used class A a couple of years ago I think it cost $40. I’m glad I got it but mine was not especially helpful. I learned I would be the third owner - which I didn’t know - and that the first owner barely used it while the second put a lot of miles on it but only owned it for about 7 months. There weren’t any service records and some entries didn’t list mileage though.

Keep in mind that Carfax can only report what is reported...
A cash deal to repair a rotted wall won't show up.

Very rare (unicorn rare) to find an RV service center that is reporting work back to Car Fax or any of the common vehicle data base services. At best if you buy a report it will show DMV stuff concerning registration renewal, title status and such. Maybe if an owner had chassis work performed at Ford, GM, Dodge,,, dealership it might have been reported.

Looking to find the service history for the generator, when were the roof seals last checked or who winterized the potable water system last fall? Unless the coach comes with a prior owner(s) maintenance log the likelihood of finding an on line database is pretty much zero.

A couple of years later we traded for a CMax.
A very BIG shock when we were offered almost nothing for the MKX because of "STRUCTRTAL DAMAGE"
Our salesman tried for a couple of hours to contact carfax with almost NO luck, he did manage to find 1 phone # answered by a fax machine, faxes were sent no response.
I tried for several hours the next day %#&@ as far as I know carfax STILL has NO published # or any way to dispute their claim.

When a salesman offers us a carfax, I calmly reply "sure" when it shows up I turn away
WIPE my BUTT turn around and offer it back.

Thanks for asking

Yup; I've seen that in my office.
CLUE reports are like Carfax of the insurance World. Companies report any losses and payments to them. Carfax even collects data from them for their reports.
They sort information by name, address, and V.I.N..
Your names got cross-wirwd somehow...

Had that problem once and it IS infuriating. Mine was a minor rear end while I was stopped in traffic. Couple of years later went to trade and Carfax showed it as major damage and it left me out to dry. I even had the repair invoice but, of course it didn’t help. I still want to see the report if it’s available but it’s certainly not golden.

Yep, the whole story is much worse, all because of our insurance owned body shop.

1. Took months to get our car back.
2. Rented a nice F150.
3. During the months long wait we drove it to colorado spent 2 weeks there
4. Wasn't ready when we got back, when we did turn in the F150 Enterprise had a meltdown, till I pointed out the note on their document "we've been waiting over a month, if it's not ready by 1st week of June we're going out of state for 2 weeks
5. When we did get the mkx back the new manager told us the old manager was promoted to customer.

That not all, but let's get back on topic
