class a driving school

I am new to owning a class a motorhome. I live in southern California and I'm looking for someone qualified to teach me how to drive and handle a class a motorhome. The wife says I over steer a lot. I have tried looking on-line but, it seems the good ones are out of state.

I just finished a two day course with RV School (RVSchool.com) with their Dallas area instructor over the weekend. I went with them because they had the best reviews online (all the main RV forums, they are mentioned the most).

I was very impressed. I plan to write up a review and haven't had a chance yet. They look to have multiple California instructors.

Make sure that you review the course outline; before signing up!

Or my trial by fire driving in Dallas. I can't remember if it was I-20 or loop 12 or another road, but it was four of five lanes wide, and there was a stretch where every 1/4 mile or so, all lanes shifted to the left, then 1/4 or so late, all lanes shifted to the right, then 1/4 mile or so, all shifted to the left, etc. This was four or five times, heave traffic and I had very few hours behind the wheel.

As we are almost back to our sleepy town in Arkansas the wife asks, "are you going to be OK driving through town with this?"

I'm like, "were you not with me the last four days when I've been driving on interstates, 4 lane city roads and 2 lane city roads in Arlington and Dallas?"

It's their job; to ask us stuff like that...

And it's OUR job to not let them see how it drives us NuTz!

Congratulations on the safe trip home!
