Front lower valence clearance

New Class A owner. Windsport 35M. Do I have to be careful driving into driveways with a steep downgrade or incline? Could I scrape the body?

Thanks

Shawn

I have the same question. I have the 2017 Hurricane 35M and was also wondering about scraping the front end under these circumstances!

absolutely, though ANY vehicle, whether an RV or your CAR, can scrub if you have a very steep entry or exit situation... the best way to enter or exit a steep driveway is to come in at a 45 degree angle, as much as possible.

with all RVs, though, there are times when scrubbing the front cap, a generator exhaust pipe, or your tow hitch is just going to happen - you just want to limit the amount of contact.

On my class C, the trailer hitch would drag on some driveways. But it is sturdy. I think I will have to change the grade of my driveway up north. Just another thing to watch out for.
