Stock TV Durability

I’ve seen mention of people installing a name brand television in their rv. From what I was told during or ACE sales process, rv TVs are designed to take more abuse than residential TVs (due to the rough ride).

Is this true, or is it safe to install a normal tv (like a Sony or other name brand) in the rv? I hate our axxera tv and would love to have a higher quality one.

On the last two units I made them take out the TV's and purchased my own Never had any trouble the first unit went 10 years and maybe 60K the new unit is just over a year old and only has 6K on it A lot of it was over I 10 in Louisiana no trouble with any of these. They did give me credit on the ones they took out of the units

I've been RVing since 1981 and the only time I changed a TV was when they went digital. Our campers in the 80s didn't come with TVs. Since then, the stock TVs have always been fine with us. We are not out in the RV to watch TV, that is for the house.

I agree about not being in the RV to watch tv in general but my 2 and 5 year olds go to bed early, so it’s nice to have alternate entertainment from time to time

NO...if they are breathing and have a pulse. Even thought they may not be actually talking, they are thinking of their next lie while they are not listening to you. This is know to them as multi-tasking.
