Daytona 500

Going to the Daytona 500, anyone have suggestions on camping on the infield? closest i could find was Ormond Beach to stay. Should be sold out tickets...

It's been years since I camped there so I can't offer any advice but it's absolutely a great time. For 24 years I never missed a Daytona 500. Enjoy.

Try Endless Summer RV Park in Port Orange. Not recommending based on anything but availability. It is late, so you may have a tough time getting a spot.

Stayed at Beverly Beach Campground for a few nights last week. Tight spots, but right on the water. Easy ride on the ebikes to Flagler Beach for a beer.

Your question addressed camping in the infield (assuming you meant at the track). Have you contacted ticket sales for a spot there? It's mostly dry camping but they do offer pump out services and delivery of fresh water for your tank(s). It's truly a "Mud, Blood & Beer" experience in the infield... true "Gooberama 500". The race is one thing...infield camping is another event in itself.

Ormond Beach is close and a good place to be. Also, there is a huge Harley Division Dealer there. You should visit.

Thanks. locked in at Coral Sands, Ormond. Looks like the rain Gods are letting the race proceed without a hitch this yr....reading and understanding Wx Prog charts is becoming a reqmt for successful RVin.
