Winter Storage MAINE

I have a new Thor 24SR and was wondering about winter storage after it's been properly winterized. I've noticed at RV dealers that the New and used Motor Homes are never covered. The new one I bought sat on the dealers lot all last winter and had dead batteries. They put new ones in and the only thing I noticed going home was a little bit of flat spots on the tires that created a little vibration, but that worked itself out after 100 miles.

Now my plan is to park the RV on 2x10's up off the ground on my back lawn and have two trickle chargers running all winter. One will be into a cig lighter (always live) and the other to the two batteries in the coach.

Your thoughts please, Thanks.
