Double recliners

Looking for a double recliner to replace my fold out bed in my 44fx Thor Tuscany. Looking for suggestions on brand. Concerned about the width. I cannot go wider than 78 inches, also concerns about getting it inside.

We chose shop4seats. They have several configurations for different width requirements. Ours are 68”. Fabric is leather look but not pleather which is basically vinyl. That seem to be holding up well after 2 seasons and many trips. That backs and bases are separate making them easy to get through the door. It took me longer to get the jackknife sofa out than to install the new recliners. The center console has a big drawer and storage. Also has 110 AC outlets along with USB ports. And reading lights.

I have the shop4seats ones as. I got them several years ago and they are now in their third RV. They are top quality (or were back when) with thick leather, strong seams, excellent workmanship. The sofa in the Windsport was something of a pain to get out - have to lie on the floor to reach some bolts, but the replacement is easy. The recliners come in 5 sections with the backs off making it easy to get them through the door.

It was several years ago so really not a good indicator. I recall that each one is made to order though and that it took quite a while for them to be delivered (weeks).

I think they do. Their website is shop4seats.com. It took about 6 months to receive them. And you pay in full at time of order. Also, when we got ours, the center console drawer wouldn’t stay closed. It came open when just a few things were in it and went around left hand corner. They didn’t just suggest a fix, they sent me an entire new console, no questions asked.

RecPro also has the recliners in a woven fabric. I chose this for the Omni and very pleased. Not scratchy, looks good and hell of a lot more comfortable than the crappy incliner thor put in as OEM seating.

My GF bought the Recpro charles recliners pieces for her 5th wheel to replace a worn out sofa bed and booth. She got the vinyl and while comfortable they are peeling after 3 years. I also considered the Thomas Payne, Kplot I think got them in his from the factory, but the TP isn't consistently comfortable in my opinion. The price ordering direct from TP was quite a bit higher so I tried the Recpro with fabric. Pleased with the comfort and with the fabric we'll see how it lasts. While not a 100% color match, it's mild contrast looks good in the coach.

We were shopping for a dual recliner this fall for the Hurricane we just bought. Search made more difficult with a 55 inch width limit. Considered Recpro and Shop4seats but was concerned about the wait and buying without ever actually sitting on them. Then happened to see the Kathy Ireland recliners at Cpg World. They had floor models to try and they passed the test. They arrived in a week. Then we had the captains chairs recovered to match by a local upholstery guy. Hoping Kathy Ireland will show up to inspect them!
