New mattress

Looking to replace the mattress in our 23H Freedom Elite that has an angle cut on the bottom right corner. Does anyone have any suggestions where to go to find one?

A tempurpedic type. They can be custom cut with a long sharp fillet knife or electric carving knife.

Yes these MattressInsider are great, they can cut the corner for you on the custom order. So glad i got rid of the Serta mattress! The one on the left was only a yr old out of factory.

The Thor-vaunted Denver mattress was a joke in my 23U. After a year, it looked like Norman Bates's mom had been lying on it.

I had a long-double with angled-corner made at The Original Mattress Factory https://www.originalmattress.com/find-a-store for about $450. it's innerspring and has a pillow top. Additionally, it's designed to fold (really bend a bit) in the middle to allow placing in the awkward back corner location.

Very comfortable!

When I spoke to Sara and asked about returning it if I was not happy with it she said, "Take it to the Salvation Army or The Goodwill Store, get a receipt and mail them the receipt and you'll get all your money refunded". I asked her if she ever issued anyone a refund and she said not once in 5 years. I LOVE mine and would never return it!! Good Luck finding a better mattress at a better price with a better warranty; Bob Trice

Not to be a Debby downer but those places won't take a used mattress so getting a receipt might be hard. Trying to give away a used mattress is harder than giving away a pregnant cat. I'm not disparaging the quality of their mattress because usually one put in an RV is wasted space. Finding a doo quality mattress that fits is a good find. Interesting enough the stock one in the Renegade is pretty good. I expected it to give up the ghost after about 30 days but 1 year and 150+ days using it it's good. Still crossing my fingers though.

That's what I thought as well and I don't know for sure about those two places but there are many non-profits that happily accept used non-stained mattresses, especially those that help furnish apartments/houses for veterans and other shelter type needs.

Good to know. A couple years ago I tried several of them to give a very slightly used RV mattress. Used as in 1 week old. No one would take it. We thrift shop dive occasionally and most have mattress that come from condos that the builder "over bought". This is in NWFL. Still in the plastic wrap. Figure they probably are similar to RV mattress in quality.
