When I talked to shop4seats they recommended that I get the 7 springs seat frame bottom and high resilience foam upgrade so it will make it a better ride. With this most new seats are $700 to $800

Is that for a power; or manually adjusted seat?

I think it could be for both. When I talked to them I told them mine was manual.

This is what our seats have become after having them totally redone inside and out.

We replaced our jackknife loveseat with theater recliners from Shop4seats. Their customer service is beyond great. If you go that route, you won’t be sorry.

drivers seat

I bought driver and passenger seats for my 2014 ACE from shop4seats.com 3 years ago and both are super. The seats are more comfortable then the junk seats from Thor. I do not have any back pain anymore since then. Those seats using your seat base and you exchange only the seats. The installation wholes are all the same, pretty easy. Make sure you buy real leather and not plastic cover, there is a very little price difference but holding much longer. (be aware they having all kind of leather names for there plastic materials)

If you are looking for an air suspension captain's chair try - https://www.4statetrucks.com/. As stated before you will also need an air supply.

I had a situation where the Drivers seat leaned 10 degrees to the right while it was still under warranty. When I got it back from service it still leaned slightly to the right but the dealer said that was good enough. Afterwards I got under the seat and found all they had done was put 4 washers on the right side of a longer bolt. Needless to say the seat is again leaning too far. I'm looking for replacements in a parts yard but it appears buying new at a 3rd party looks like the best option for me. shop4seats.com

seat leans to the right

This has been driving me crazy.
Fixed it today.

I thought that the pedestal might be leaning, but when I spun the seat around it still leaned to the right (side of seat, not coach).
I knew at that point it was above the swivel.
Easy fix.
Two bolts, shoved a couple shims underneath.
Luckily the bolts are captive, so I didn't have to figure out how to get a wrench on the top.

BTW - this is a 2019 THOR ACE 30.3

2nd BTW – I always carry wood shims in the outdoor kitchen. They come in handy when I want to even out a grill or cook top. They also make handy kindling.

Looks like you figured out an ongoing issue with those seats. Good job.
