2021 Thor omni XG 32 fresh water tank problem

Hi,

we have a big problem with our fresh water tank. After several trips out without any problems we stopped at a gas station to find water running from our compartment below the bedroom slide. The fresh water tank sits under the bed in the XG32. Come to find out the overflow hose was only barely attached to the tank and suddenly disconnected. The placement of the tank under the bed makes it nearly impossible to get to the hoses which are attached in the back. We had a mobile RV tech relocate the overflow hose to the top of the tank and try to plug the hole in the back of the tank. We still have a small leak every time we fill the tank to the top. The only way to really get to the back of the tank would be to remove the bedroom slide. This would mean several months of the unit sitting at the dealer.

Did anybody have the same problem? How did you fix it?

See if you can get an appointment at the Thor Service Center in Wakarusa. That is the best chance for it to be fixed right. You will also get an appointment and that is something they can likely fix in a day.... they will probably replace the tank and do a better job running the hoses than the factory did.

Well, we do live in Phoenix, AZ. But I guess if all else fails. Thank you though! I wish we had dealerships here that would work like that.
