Error on inverter

I just went out to my coach turned on the inverter and got ER 02 and my voltage was only 8.1 and it’s usually about 12 so I’m curious if anyone knows what ER 02 means on the inverter 2017 Thor hurricane 34J residential refrigerator the inverter is on the left as you open the door!

What make and model inverter. For some Xantrex Inverters the E02 error is for a battery over-voltage situation.

This could be cause from a Converter / Charger or Solar Controller that malfunctioned and allowed the battery voltage to reach >18V

First I ever heard of Thor placing the inverter inside the refrigerator!! Must be a "Too Cold" error.

Ok thank u I am calling my warranty company today…it IS a Xantrex inverter! The highest it shows is 12.2 on the screen though but the fridge light is blinking on and off too!

3 things to try,

1 start engine and see if voltage increases.

2 plug in to shore power with use switch on and see if voltage increases

3 start generator and see if voltage increases.

It does increase yes, but, then decreases as well...fluctuates between 12-13 and then 8...fridge light blinks when I have the inverter on and that didn't happen ever before....def something wrong somewhere>

Do you have a Use/Store switch for the house/coach batteries and is it in "Use"? Or is the inverter wired directly to the batteries?

The inverter is wired directly to the batteries. I would check the battery cable connections at the battery and the inverter.
