Expandable hose for flushing things Y/N

All,
Is there a reason I shouldn't use one of the hoses that expands under pressure for flushing the black tank etc. It seems like it would much easier to store.

Thanks

I use a zero g. I also use zero g (not the same one) for fresh water.

I just switched my Zero G over to a collapsible Bullet Hose, since it's easier to roll up & store.

Only 2 trips so far, but it has worked well thus far.

Any hose will work

Storage and single use only are the keys, that is where many folks use different colors to make sure they have the right one

Unless were putting the Tuscany to bed for a couple months I never bother with the tank flush, just no need, but that varies as to how it is used

I have a zero g.
It was something like $20 used on amazon, so I gave it a try.
It works very well.
I'm perfectly happy with it.
It does store easier and seems to have no memory.

I wasn't too keen based on the original junk hoses, but the zero g makes me happy.

When it comes time to replace hoses: I'm going to get a couple of Zero-Gs.

I am now using a Zero G hose for my fresh water hose. It is easy to use and store. I still have my blue electric warm hose for winter camping so that the hose does not freeze up.

Using an NSF hose for the potable if you drink the water or use it for cooking/coffee is important

I have noticed some of our hoses we use to water shrubs have a terrible chemical smell if they have been stretched out in the sun for a while

I use a zero G for fresh water. I do not flush the black tank unless parking for more than a month - why bother? You're about to refill it with sewage again. When flushing the black tank I use a garden hose.

Post 113 and 153 in my signature thread outlines my dual Tornado and quick connect for the supply hose setup for the tank rinse.

It's temporary (for me) but it involves no talent or skill set and is made from off the shelf parts.

Punchline:
If you're ever going to use a quick connect(and a hose end on/off valve) on a hose, this is the place to do it.

I take the shower sprayer off the shower hose, (don't loose the washer,) and turn the shower on to rinse the black tank. Works great, dont need another hose and cant loose this one.

My hose isn't long enough(stopppp iiitttt)
And I'm not allowed to poop in the shower very often.

I'm confused.
I didn't know we were talking about running a hose inside and down the toilet.
If we are, Yeh, a short one to hook to your bathroom sink faucet with a water thief.
When you coil it up just stick the male end into the thief (stopppp iittttt)

I use a zero G for flushing the black tank. Odors tend to accumulate and go away when I flush. I use a (white water hose) for the drinking and shower fresh water needs. I have a "Y" connector for the water source with quick disconnects on everything. Set up & take down are a breeze. The sprayer nozzle fits perfectly over the end of the sewer hose so I can flush it before I put it away as well. Hope this helps. Happy Camping!
