how to open hood on 2017 Ace

What is the procedure to open engine hood I turned the hey on both sides and it still won't open does it have hinges at the bottom if I knew how it worked that would help

My ACE is a 2016 and has two keyed-locks...one on each side of the top. When I first opened my hood it was difficult...it should come out and up. You have to ensure the locks are fully in the unlock position. After I finally got my opened I lubed the hinge points and opened and closed it several times. Now when I unlock it pretty much opens on it's on.

I don't want to break something because I can't tell if it is the locked or unlocked position

Hi...apologize for the delay...CCW to unlock. First time I opened mine it was stiff until I lubricated the hinges.
