External LP connection

I have a Quantum PD31 with an external connection for LPG, is this a high or low pressure connection? We have a Weber Q 1200 that we use a lot even when not camping and I really would like to keep the regulater on the grill if all possible.....thanks for the help. Looking at purchasing the 10 LPG hose.

Never seen an OEM high pressure connection. They are all plumbed downstream of the MH regulator unless an Extend-A-Stay adapter has been added aftermarket.

I bought a hose without regulator and with LP quick disconnect for our fire pit. I was going to just buy connectors and install in the existing line but for $27 I like the idea of a separate line I can swap easily better.

No after market connection installed, just the factory outlet.

I believe that there is a way to use your Weber with this low-pressure connection.
I'm just not sure of the mechanics...

We found iut easier to just buy a low-pressure grille.

Most likely you'll have to remove the regulator from the Weber. Also unless the rv dealer supplied you with both pieces of the quick connect, they must be a matched pair, you may have to replace the one that came mounted on the rv.
If you want to keep the Weber intact go to your local lp dealer, not the gas station that sells propane & they should have all the fittings & know how to plumb into the high side.
