The 4 batteries I installed under the steps took every inch of available space. It was tight, but after relocating the original wiring and 2 breakers all worked great. My batteries are AGM deep cycle. I have plenty of solar so don’t worry about the 50% unless i was boondocking for an extended period. I seldom stay out with no services more than 2 consecutive days.
