Manual Leveling: No-go

To the point: I tried my hand at manual leveling today and it said I was too far out, left to right (-2.2). I had to Auto-Level.

What: I fired it up and I pushed the up arrow to enter manual mode. I was good front to back. The red led blinked on the right side so I pushed the right-side button, attempting to adjust the low side. Anyone else run into this limit or did I do something wrong?

Generally the jacks are positioned so they won't lift a wheel into the air at full extension. The LCI control unit is set for a max of 2 degrees left and right but can be reset.

When I leveled my Tiffin this time: I had pulled as far forward on the pad as I could. (I was checking to see if I had enough 30 amp cable...)
I was 3.2 degrees nose-high; so I put a hard rubber pad under both rear jacks...
It leveled things up: no sweat!

I have the Lippert system on a 2016 chassis, 2017 model year. Beau cites it can be reset. Not sure what that means or how to do it. I'll see what I can find out.

I've lifted front wheels off the ground before but never a rear and when I do, I drive up on enough blocks to keep the suspension from dangling. I don't like how that can affect the geometry, especially during long-term stays. Just too much stress in the opposite direction.

Interesting. Sounds like either the direction or a higher tolerance for out-of-level.

Did you follow Lippert's manual leveling instructions? Land one pair to the ground, then land the other pair, then start your manual leveling adjustment.

I thought I did - tried to land the pair on the low side. Responded I was too far out of level (-2.2)

For the record: correcting for that 3.2 degree difference (front to rear); did not lift the rear wheels off the padm
