Finally able to go!

Local campground is finally open today, so we can finally leave the driveway and be gone for 3 days. There are certain restrictions but that's ok, it's just nice to finally be able to go!

A number of campgrounds around me are open. I stayed at one on the Texas side of Toledo Bend a couple weeks ago.

We are heading to Tombstone Arizona on June 15 for 5 days. Just had the motor home at my house to do some maintenance. I also bought a mini twin tub washer/spin dryer for our trips to do laundry on the road. It is portable and works pretty good. Just have to hang dry the clothes, but they are almost dry from the spin dryer tub. I added pressure shower curtain rod to the bathroom in order to hang wet things to dry. We are also going to Yellowstone in July.

Wish it was me!

We are itching to get out, too. Teenagers are not happy that pools at campgrounds in my area are all still closed, so we are biding our time. Have fun!

I've been getting the motorhome ready for the last couple days. Washed and waxed. Had to pull the dog house to make a minor repair.
Then today, I washed and waxed my Harley.

We will be pulling out Wednesday morning for Buffalo River in Ar until Sunday. From there, I'm not sure yet.
I'll be towing the Harley to ride some of the twisties in the area we will be camped at.

Buffalo River! Memories! When we lived in Shreveport, I worked for Motorola Communications - sold commercial 2-way comms. The crew from S'port and Monroe made several trips to canoe the Buffalo from Ponca to Pruitt. Camped near the halfway point. Great times!
