Yep, even if you know nothing about what engine you have, Year/Make/Model of RV seems like critical information for this type of question.

Did they say to try a place that works on bigger vehicles?

You need to find a commercial truck garage in your area. We have a local truck Fleet Service shop that works on motorhomes.
