First on my list

My Thor Axis will be delivered ( hopefully) end of Feb or first of March! In the meantime I want to start gathering the things I will need for my new coach.
Aside from the basics like sheets, towels, dishes and etc. what should be first on my list?
Thanks

Could depend on your intended travel locations and length of stays (full time?). Space efficiency is your friend. My wife loves the stackable pans and storage containers for her kitchen. I reconstructed my "traveling tools" several times. Also consider GPS, backup cams, satelite TV, wheel covers, vent covers, super comfortable lawn chairs, portable BBQ grill and possibly a bicycle rack.

Anxiously awaiting retirement where I have been told everyday is a Saturday

Not full time but extended trips of two to three months!
I believe the Axis comes with a back up camera . I put your other suggestions on my list with the exception of the sat tv - not sure I want one of those.
I know I will need a surge protector! I'm gong with the Progressive EMS, but not sure if I should get the portable one or have one hard wired! What is the advantage of one lever the other?

Well the obvious: The built in one can't be stolen, and you can't forget it (either leaving it there or forgetting to plug it in).

Given your question (since I can't remember your prior posts) I would assume this is your first RV (once you've had one moving from one to another is almost like moving).

The dealer will give you a starter kit: small bottle of toilet chemicals, crappy sewer hose, short 3ft water hose. You'll want to get better ones of all (nice water hose, a Rhino or better sewer hose, etc.).

Don't go too crazy filling that Camping World shopping cart. Just go with a few essentials and then make a list on your first couple of trips (everyone's needs are a little different).

We are gradually getting thru the bedding list for 4 beds that each require a little more "cushion"

Had to work on getting the storage spot accessible, and got a cover.

Opted for the TPMS (tires pressure) before the Surge/Electrical Monitoring system. The EMS is next on the list, I just thought the personal safety potential from the TPMS was more important than protecting my TVs etc.

Wredman I agree I will check into the TPMS before purchasing the surge protector.
JamieGeek, yes this is my first MH so it's all new to me. I hope to do very little shopping at CW. If possible I prefer to shop at Amazon. Your point about hardwiring is well taken. I watched a YT video and it seems fairly simple to install. I'm always in favor of having one less thing to remember!

I use lego block to help level my unit. A bag of them will go a long way. Aunt spray, some of our Mississippi Parks there are a problem, also fire ant killer.
A small tool kit from Lowes, just in case. Do carry a compressor. Also suggest the first trip be to one of our parks near you home.

I would suggest that you get Ed's manual here. It has a lot of good checklists.

Fhenn I always welcome advise from fellow Mississippians especially in regards to ants! The coach is being delivered to CW in Jackson so that's about 2 1/2 hrs away. After that I plan to find a CG within 100 miles to get a real feel for the coach.
Gbrown, I've download Ed's manual and have gone over it many times. Thanks Ed for your efforts. It's very helpful!
I see you've made many upgrades to your MH. My wallet is cringing just thinking of all this! I'm definitely going to have to take this a little at a time. Right now I'm just just trying to get my priorities straight!

Ah yeah, as far as finding campgrounds: RV Park Reviews. One of the best resources on the net (basically "Yelp for campgrounds"). I use it to check out campgrounds we haven't been to before.

Just my humble opinion....
1. Surge protector
2. City water hook up water pressure regulator
3. City water hook up water filter
4. Rhino sewer dump hoses and assorted clear fittings
5. Easy to use dial type tire pressure gauge
6. Good quality city hook up water hose
7. Sewer hose/sewer use hose for rinsing
8. Water tank filler
9. Stackable leveling pads

Later, the Garmin 760 Navigator. It is really great because you program how big the RV is.... It actually tells you about driving direction issues which could affect the size of your rig. Not cheap, but check Amazon.
