X2 on TPMS. I think it’s the single most valuable addition I’ve made to my RVing experience. It’s not cheap, especially if you add dually valves like I did but most of it is a one time purchase that you can take with you if/when you trade for a different coach.

Washer/Dryer

Ours had a stacked washer/dryer when we purchased. Wife thought it would be great for wet swim suits for the grandkids. After not using it once the first year. We removed it and wife is getting much more use out of the additional closet.
Even when I was full timing, laundromat was much quicker and pretty convenient for just two.
Your use may vary.
If so I have new units you can purchase, lol.

I was also a newbie, 12 months ago. Still consider myself one.

We all assume you have the trueeee essentials.

How about assuming you do not.

How about a black water disposal hose and stands. Frankly, I would "practice" using the black water tank flushing system with plain old water (water from your shower, or run a garden hose into the tank, or fill your flushing\cleaning tank from the outlet on the side of your rig, if you have one).

Their is a sequence to do things so you don't have a problem.

Look it up on youtube. Took all the anxiety out of it for me.

Basically, just "test" everything at least in your head like you are doing now. My compliments.

What will you do if you get a flat tire.....on the front?

First purchase after RV: Insurance
Followed by: Roadside Assistance

And that was followed by: 4 rolls of filament for the printer.

Surge protector is essential. We learned the hard way. We were visiting friends who had just moved in to their new home and they also had an RV/workshop “barn” built by the contractor. The electrician wired a 30 amp RV outlet inside the barn. They did not have an rv yet, so we were the first. We did not have a surge protector and did not understand the importance of one. When we plugged in it was immediately apparent that there was a problem and I hollered for them to turn the breaker off, but it was too late as I saw a puff of smoke come out of the power box in the trailer. We called a mobile tech and he confirmed the bad news. Anything that was not turned off or that switched automatically to electricity from propane or battery was toasted - this included TVs as even off they draw some power. The contractor admitted his electrician had wired the outlet improperly and he paid several thousand dollars to repair and replace everything. Luckily we had turned off our air conditioner, so it wasn’t damaged and we could use it when plugged in to regular power for the rest of our 4,000+ mile trip. Lesson learned. Surge protector-don’t plug in without one.

Don't believe them!
I think that's a pretty good idea. But if you don't get a surge protector you won't even need the motorhome anymore.

***Don't buy the usual white or blue (RV) water hose. they get real stiff and a pain to store. Look for the (Zero-G) hose. You can get it at Amazon, and or Lowe's You will need at least 50 feet. I have 2, 25 footers so if I only need a short one I can, and it's easier to store.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Zero-G-5-8-...ose/1000168063

*** Pressure regulator. This one your able to preset the pressure and it's (Full Flow) the cheaper inline type is not either.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

***You will (or should get) the Surge /EMS protector (don't skimp on this one) I have the portable (Progressive) brand. There are other ones too, I just like this one.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

***Sewer hose: At least 2 sections. Sometimes (more than not) you will need to go further to reach the connection.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

***Leveling blocks, unless you have automatic levelers (NOT electric rear stabilizers)

After a few trials, I found these to be the best (IMHO) they take a beating but still work well. I have 4 sets. (you will use them all) (Camco ones are junk)
https://smile.amazon.com/Tri-Lynx-00...s%2C220&sr=8-6

We just had the hydraulic levelers (Bigfoot brand) installed on our rig. When we only had the leveling blocks, we used the LevelMatePRO Wireless Vehicle Leveling System. For us it was a must. makes leveling using blocks so much easier. Now that we have the leveling system, we still use it to check and make fine tuning adjustments once leveled. You can watch a few videos on You-Tube on the product.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good Luck!! and happy RV'ing

If you only stay in modern up to date parks or boondock you might not need a surge protector. But it’s still a worthwhile addition. I’d certainly recommend an EMS instead of just a surge protector if you are going to make the purchase and an internal model will be more convenient and less vulnerable theft.

I have Progressive's EMS...
No need for Tylenol; while it's on the job.

You should also look into a few electrical adapters.
30 X 50 Amp, so you can plug into a 50 amp receptacle when the 30 doesn't work (And it will happen)
30 X 15 Amp. Same as the one above but also gives you the ability to plug your unit into a 15/20 amp receptacle to work on it (No ac) startup the refrigerator before a trip. and keep the batter charged when stored (though I only do this short term, otherwise I use a "Battery Tender")

New up to date parks can still have power surges. I have one installed on my house electrical power also. RV's are too expensive to bet on someone else's electrical grid.

My first was a Surge Protector.pricy, but worth it. Next important thing was tire monitoring system.
