Thanks. I guess I've got a problem then. No dash lights when I turn on parking or head lights. I'll check the fuses.

Tnrambler: got the first file unzipped for the image file. Like you, could not unzip the mcu file. Called Axxera customer service and gave them the serial number of my receiver and they told me it didn't need update.

I'll wait until I get the cable to see if I'm able to mirror my smartphone. Going to wait because I'm updating to an Apple 5s at end of month.

Don't need remote. It was in bottom kitchen drawer with tv remotes when I picked up the RV at the dealer.

I was at that rally. Why didn't you say hello :-) Sorry about your problems but it seems like you have received some good info from others here.

Well call me STUPID!! I finally got my hot water working! After almost taking the coach apart, checking valves, breakers, electrical connections, etc. it finally dawned on me to check the LP tank to see if the gas valve was turned on. It wasn't!! I turned it on and now I have hot water. I hope I do better on the other problems. But at least this one is fixed.

Here's where having a good checklist comes in handy. Hard to forget to do something when you are checking off the steps as you do them.

Never call yourself stupid! We are all human and make mistakes, that's why we bought RV's

FWIW I use an app on my iPad and iPhone called RV Checklists. Has everything you need and if not you can add it.

The manual I recently compiled for the Axis/Vegas has about half of it dedicated to checklists -- Getting Ready After Storage, Setup, Tear down, Winterizing, Storing, Post Camping Cleanup, and PDI.

It's really easy to forget something critical no matter how many times you've done it. That's why regardless of how many thousands of flying hours an aircrew member has, he/she still does preflight, post flight, takeoff prep, landing prep by the checklist. You would be amazed at how easy it is to attempt a landing with the gear still in the wheel wells.

When you use the checklist you never have to say, "OOps."
