I passed on the Ace cause I'm 6'6" and the windshield was too low at the top. Got a 2018 Windsport 29m and LOVE IT!!!! I'd recommend you look at all the coach's in the length you want and see which works best for your needs. Don't get one too small like I did the first time then trade up. Make sure your first choice is the BEST choice. I'd suggest the Freedom Traveler 30'. You can't get one with a king bed but I really like the floor-plan and the generator is behind the driver side front wheel, not under the bed. How stupid is it for any builder to put the generator under where you sleep????????????????????? Somebody out there explain that to me?? Swap the space for storage and the leveling pump. It can't be that hard; Bob Trice

Why is the placement of the generator in the back a problem? Mine is there and I generally consider it a plus, if I think about it at all. During the day when it’s running I’m usually up front and it’s quieter. I wouldn’t ever leave it running through the night though maybe that’s just me. In any case we all have different priorities and that’s why there are so many different floor plans.

Dangerous to run a generator while you sleep. So the bed may be ok?

My generator is up front and the exhaust pipe is just behind the left front wheel well. During the Feb TX great freeze event, we and the three cats move to the Hurricane when it became evident the electric power would be off for an extended period. I started the generator at 10 am Monday and shut if off at 12 pm on Friday. That is 98 hours. I use 55 gallons of gas and 6 gallons of propane. The temperatures were between 36 and 9 F with 66 hours continually below freezing. Happy to report I did not freeze or succumb to CO poisoning. In fact the temperature never got below 74 degrees in the coach.
