Frozen grey tank lines

My lines from the grey tanks to the dump line are frozen I believe. I wrapped them with heat tape and put a heater under it. I do not have a good skirting system. There is a drain plug on the tank. Has anyone ever removed the plug? Do you know what to use?

Is it that cold in Florida? Secondly are you sure you want to remove a plug? Are you sure you are getting the valve opened?

If you identify the model someone with a similar coach may come along with a plan.

oh, Wyoming. That explains it. I once had all my lines frozen up on my house and 60 feet of water supply line two days after moving into our new house and before the trench was buried. Wyoming does get cold. I would give the heater time to do its thing and hold your breath that the line didn't split.

Put a heater in your basement and aim it towards the tank. You will just have to thaw it out. Hope your gray level is not that full. If you have a bit left you could also trying running hot water into the tank. Either way I would think it will take time.

Also add RV antifreeze to the gray and black tanks.

When we are in zero temperatures a gallon of antifreeze goes in each tank

try putting a 60 watt light in the wet bay, it produces enough heat to keep the lines from freezing. cheaper than running space heaters and safer.
