Sunshine-Thor Forum 2019 Spring Rally

Join us at Ocala Sun RV Resort, just off I-75 in Ocala, Friday, April 5th thru Sunday, April 7th. Some will come early, some will stay late. The rate is $39, including all fees and tax. The campground direct number for reservations is 352-307-1100.

The resort has a heated pool and spa, a dog run, WiFi and cable. They recently remodeled the clubhouse, which we can need if the weather doesn't cooperate. Sites are full hook up.

Expect no entertainment or provided meals, but enjoy no rally fees! There are some group things in the works, which I'll share when the details come together. We'll do a potluck for Friday dinner and bring something in for Saturday dinner.

We've had folks drive in for part of a day without an RV, they're welcome too. Please PM me if you are coming for part or all. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends!

We or I will be there for sure...wife still working. We are going to Dominican Republic for 6 days in April and will know confirmed dates by this Friday. Hopefully, it will not interfere with attending this rally. I sent you an email in response to planned activities, feeding the masses, etc. Look forward to meeting the new "locals"!!

Plans are coming together for our spring rally.

I'm pretty sure we'll have a Thor rep come to speak with us on Saturday morning! Those who were with us last spring will remember how great it was to have the rep answer all our questions.

We leave on the 9th for Dominican Republic. This will not allow me the time to bring coach and get back, pack away and still have adequate time for trip prep. I will probably drive down in a vehicle real early Saturday, hang out for the fun, grab a room somewhere and leave Sunday morning. If you guys can accept a non-camping vagrant, I'd love to meet everyone for the day.

We really have no rules, so come on down! We've had folks join us for the day before. We are expecting a Thor rep on Saturday morning. I'll post the time later. There's something in the works for Saturday afternoon, too. Stay tuned to this channel!

The reservations are rolling in! There will be some folks just starting out with new rigs, and a some of us that have decades of adventures and misadventures behind us! We'll have rigs big and small, folks from across the street (literally) and across the country.

If you haven't met a honest to gosh Thor rep, this is your chance, on Saturday morning.

Plenty of room for more rigs. Some have reservations starting Thursday evening, and some will stay over through Sunday or later. Come on over, you'll be glad you did!

Checked with Ocala Sun Resort today, and they now have 11 rigs with reservations, with plenty of room for more. About 5 weeks away now, clear your calendar and join us!

At this point, it looks like we'll have our biggest rally yet, with several new folks, and some familiar faces. This is our 6th biannual rally. Stay tuned here, I'll be posting more details in the coming days and weeks.
