Thinking of joining FMCA and also going to the 2019 rally in Georgia. Pros, Cons?? Has anyone been to there rallys?

I looked into it but it seems very "busy". The way I understood it, you are required to make so many meetings and connect with your local chapters, etc. I don't like anything that says I have to do things in order to be a member.

Joined 2 yrs ago for the insurance benefits. Went to the Perry Rally last year. Interesting things to see and do. Rally fees to attend/camp are steep. Many vendors and RV dealers there. If you want 4 wheel weighing, it fills up fast.

Safe t plus also does a limited number of steering stabilizer installs near the rally grounds. Call them directly and early to set it up.

Bob Denman here is a member...he'll sober up in a little while and stumble by. He can add some dialog from his experience. It's a big club. Who so they use an underwriter for their insurance?

My folks used to go to their rallies all of the time (Back in the nineties...). They loved the camaraderie and fellowship, and enjoyed looking at all of the cool rigs around them!

I joined up with F MCA at the Tampa show. We may never go to a big national rally, but there are local clubs and regional rallies we might check out at some point. When it is insurance renewal, I'll give them a shot.

Did you look at Mr sunshine's link?

Passport America and KOA are separate programs.

Not sure about the KO A thing, but I'm sure it is not the same as a KO A discount card. Maybe that's an outdated reference.

At the Tampa show, there was a $10 new sign up savings. It's a one year deal, then I'll decide whether to renew.

I joined only for the FMCAssist Medical Emergency and Travel Assistance Program

Not into rallies. Their tire program might be helpful. Wont know that until I need to buy tires

Further digging on their website reveals they have "partnerships" with these two programs. This means you get a free 1 year KOA membership and you have the opportunity to purchase a Passport America membership, but it doesn't say that purchase is discounted.
